Recess or exact fitting?
Recess Fitting
Choose this option when fitting your blind inside the window recess.
What we do:
We're going to make your blind slightly smaller than the sizes you give. It's important that you do not make any deductions yourself.
In most cases the overall blind will be made 10mm narrower in the width than the measurements you give. This is so the blind and fittings don't scrape against the wall and the panels hang beautifully without dragging on the window sill.
Is Recess Fit right for you?
Put simply, a recessed window is one that is set back into the wall. Fitting the blind inside this space means that it doesn't stick out into the room, resulting in a neat finish.
Exact Fitting
Choose this option when fitting your blind outside the window area.
What we do:
Your blind will be made exactly to the sizes you give to us.
Is Exact Fit right for you?
It might be that you do not have a recess, or that you need a blind that sits outside of the recess and therefore are ordering a blind with extra width and drop to overlap the recessed space. Or, it might be that you already have the perfectly sized blind up at your window and want us to make a new blind exactly the same size for you.
